HOW TO ENTER: The contest begins March 25, 2019 and runs through May 25, 2019. Participants are invited to enter the contest online at getoffthegreen.com. Once they have accessed the application, they will need to enter their name, address and email and submit the completed entry form. Contest drawing will be held on May 26, 2019, and one winner will be randomly selected via a drawing from all eligible entries received prior to the drawing date. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received by the drawing date.
LIMIT: One (1) entry per person/per email address. Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. is not responsible for late, incomplete, misdirected or delayed entries. Incomplete information may result in disqualification of entry. No phone-in or fax-in submissions will be accepted. Incomplete applications may be disqualified. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. No mechanical reproductions or facsimiles of entries allowed. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: The winner will be selected by a random drawing from all eligible entries received up until that time. All drawings will be conducted by Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. (“the Administrator”), whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this contest. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received up until the time of each drawing. The winner will be contacted by the email address they provided in their entry form. The winner must respond to notification within seven (7) days or forfeit the prize.

Package is valid for registered winner only, is not transferable and has no monetary resale value. Package does not include air and ground transportation and other expenses and incidental travel costs, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges. We reserve the right to charge the winner for taxes or other expenses not normally included in the hotel rate.
Package will be valid for up to two people for the period of May 25 thru December 31, 2019. Tax liabilities resulting from any prize shall be the sole responsibility of the package recipient.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: By accepting any prize, the prize winners agree to release the Sponsor from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by entering the promotion or for damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of prize awarded. All local, state and federal taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner and/or any other fees/costs associated with the receipt of any prize. No substitution or transfer of prize or election of cash in lieu of prize will be permitted. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute any prize package with another prize of equal or greater value in the event that the prize (or any component thereof) is not available. If a prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to a potential winner, if potential winner cannot be reached within 7 days from the first notification attempt, if potential winner fails to return requisite document within the specified time period or if a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, then such person shall be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected for the prize at issue. All taxes, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner’s entry and acceptance of the prizes offered constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for the Sponsor to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state only) in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation. SPONSOR/ADMINISTRATOR: The contest is sponsored and administered by Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc., 1010 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901 (the “Sponsor”) (the “Administrator”).
ELIGIBILITY: The “Get Off the Green” Getaway Package is open and offered only to legal residents of an area more than 60 miles outside of Augusta, GA. Must be 18 and older to be eligible to enter. Employees of the Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. and destination sponsors, as well as their affiliated companies and their marketing and promotion agencies are ineligible to win this contest. All entries received from ineligible entrants will be rendered null and void.
NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: Winner will be notified via email. Winner will have seven (7) days to respond to Sponsor. If a winner does not accept the prize or respond within the required timeframe, Sponsor will randomly select and notify an alternate winner. This process will continue until one winner has been selected. Entrants are responsible for ensuring current and valid contact information. Returned or undeliverable notifications may result in forfeiture of the prize. Participants found to be in violation of the Official Rules will be disqualified, and any prize granted will be forfeited.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest. Winning any prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Participants also agree to receive email promotions from Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc.
PROPERTY OR PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, AND/OR INVASION OF PRIVACY that may arise from participating in this contest or its related activities or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of, or any harm resulting from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize(s). Prize winner acknowledges that released parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize.
DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, you agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Georgia. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Georgia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Georgia or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Georgia.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, and/or terminate this contest should causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the contest. In case of such suspension or termination, a notice will be posted at Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. offices at 1010 Broad Street, Augusta, GA 30901, and at the Sponsor’s discretion, a winner will be selected from eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to event requiring such termination or suspension. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant if his or her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the contest. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the contest or in the announcement of any and all prizes.
